Thermal Test Explanation
The pictures were generated by a computer engineering program that simulates windows under various conditions.
The pictures shown are a cross section of an old aluminum frame (Before) and the same window with the Intelligent Retrofit System™ mounted (After).
On the top is the inside of the window tested under normal room conditions +22 degrees Celsius. On the bottom is the outside of the window under winter conditions -20 degrees Celsius.
The colours superimposed on the window frame and glass represents temperatures under the above conditions. At the bottom is a colour index, for example, the before test shows a lot of light purple or an average of -7 degrees on the frame and glass as per the colour index. The after test shows a lot of light green on the frame or approximately +3 degrees and shows blue on the glass or approximately -5 degrees.
The window frame is much warmer on the inside in winter cold conditions.
